Comments about Marmot Asgard 3P Expedition Tent:

I took this tent out for the first time last weekend to Buck Valley, PA. My 12 year old son and I put the tent up with fly in 10 minutes in the dark. It was real easy. We split the tent between our packs, very light for the size at 12lbs. Overnight temperature was 18 degrees, the tent held its own. Way more than enough room for 2, I really could have fit my wife and 8 year old inside the tent as well. We put our gear in the entry way to maximimize space inside the tent. There are so many storage holders inside the tent, nice! I am very pleased with the high quality of this Marmot tent and plan to do more winter camping now that I have the right gear. If you want a tarp for this tent I highly recommend a 10x10 as it fits perfectly under and the tent and the corner tent pole tips will fit directly into the rivet holes at the corners. The one thing I am disappointed about is, for the price, I have to pay Marmot extra for the overhead gear loft!!! What is up with that?
