Bag is very strong and durable. The straps that make it double as a backpack are very convenient. Reinforced grab handles on sides and ends are very convenient as well.

Capacity of each bag is as follows::
Xtra Large - 6400 cubic inches /105 liters, Large - 4575 cubic inches75 liters, Med - 3050 ci / 50 liters
Small - 2150 ci / 35 liters
Now all those numbers probably mean nothing if you don't have anything to compare it to. I personally own all except the Small. The medium is what I would use for an overnight or maybe 2 nights. Measures about 26"x17", give or take an inch because it is not stuffed right now. I currently don't have the Large and Xtra large with me to measure them.

Marmot long hauler (small), is the zippered pocket on the end big enough to put shoes (women size 7.5)?

You can probably put two pair! I wear a size 12 men's and there is ample room in the zippered bag for them.

To be blunt Yes - I have Mens size 12 that fits nito the zippered shoe pocket which sits on the side of the bag. There is also another mesh pocket on the flap that opens which is able to hold smaller items.
