Questions about this item:

Wiley T  Is this 2013 Glides down sweater 650 or 700 filled down?
TRACY S  mine's 700.
THERESA E  It is 700 fill. Says so right on the sleeve of the jacket. It's the best jacket in its price range. A good fiil quantity too, which there seems to be no industry standard for. Very warm. I would highly recommend.
Ryk G  The tag inside theh jacket says 700.
SEELE, I  Its a 700 fill. Light, warm and komfortable. I still like it very mich!
Shopper  Is it a heavy jacket thick enough to wear as outer shell in winter in upstate NY?or relatively light weight for climbing?
Ryk G  I think so. It doesn't get that cold here in Las Vegas, but I wore it this morning and it was 28 degrees. I'm surprised at how warm it is for such a light jacket.
TRAVIS P  It's heavy enough to wear as an outer shell in an NY winter. Pretty thick coat.
Bachelor boB B  The fabric of this jacket is intended for exactly zero mist, rain, sleet, snow, or even high humidity wind. As needed, I layer a shell over it, just as the term 'shell' implies.
MARY D  I don't think I would refer to this as a "shell". To me that implies a very thin outer jacket. This is a typical men's down jacket... "puffy" but not overly so...and also lightweight. Plenty warm. It says "700 fill" on the jacket. It has two zip pockets, one interior large zip pocket and velcro closures at the wrists. There is a fleece lining at the neck. Hope this helps... btw... my son thought he had misplaced his... I bought another and then he found his.... my husband "adopted" the extra jacket he liked it so much... we'd just like some cold weather so they can put them to use... warm winter here in NC!
JOHN G  Good for city wear in upstate my in winter
Shopper  goose down or power down?
Ryk G  The attached tag says "Power Down."
