I use this jacket when its no colder than 35degrees outside, when wearing a suitable base layer underneath and possibly even 2 layers under jacket. this is the weakest when it comes to warmth when compared to other mammut down jackets i own, 650fill 80/20 120grams down..But i like the simple design and fit of jacket, i own a few of these, 2 in black and 1 in navy. There good for casual adventures in semi cold weather, not for outdoor use for hrs unless you don't get cold very easily.

Barely have had this for 2 weeks and the collar is starting to fray. I intend to return.

SunnySports service and prices are AWESOME. I have tried almost every "down sweater" jacket out there, Patagonia, LL Bean, North Face, etc... NOTHING COMPARES to the warmth and quality of this jacket. Comfortable at 20 F with only a T shirt underneath. RUNS SMALL. as all European sizes, they are smaller than what you are accustomed in the USA. I am 5'11'' 152 pounds, skinny. Size M fits tight.
