At 750 fill power, this jacket is an awesome bargain For the price. I actually purchased this for photography club outings, as you need a really warm jacket for night photography, but have to carry a lot of gear, which quickly results in overheating. I needed a black jacket for such events. This jacket will now be my go-to for snowboarding and snowshoeing also. I wasn't expecting such breathability and warmth, for this price. It breathes amazingly well. I could definitely use it for climbing as it weighs nothing, and it's not bulky like my beloved old Mountain Hardwear. It packs into its own interior pocket, which is cool. No stuff sack needed. It's actually pretty water resistant, too! I got caught in a bit of rain, and the water just beaded on the surface. And a head's up to anyone purchasing Mammut clothing, women's Mammut clothing always runs a size smaller than you would normally purchase in any other alpine/outdoor brand. I own a lot of Mammut gear, and this is always consistent. I wear a small in MH, Arc'teryx, and The North Face, and a medium Mammut consistently fits like a small. I got this in medium, and it's (again) a perfect fit. So, definitely order a size up. I wouldn't hesitate to snag the Miva II, if you're on the fence. They're getting hard to find, as I was lucky enough to get one here at a good price.
