Comments about Mammut Aspect 28 Pack:

A really well-designed and constructed day pack. The design of the back-panel/hip belt/suspension is superb, and yet lightweight. The pack (Large, 28L) is tall enough (unlike most day packs) that with the shoulder strap attachment at the top of shoulder, you can also get all the weight down onto the back of the hip belt and off the back and shoulders (I'm ~5'11"). And, the back is mostly tensioned mesh with a central cut-out keeping your back cool and dry, in any case. Great ergonomics. Panel loading compartments and integral rain fly are super convenient. Fits an insulated 3L hydration bladder if you are willing to pack around it a bit. Lightweight construction without being too fragile. Great piece of gear!
