Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Expedition Tent
Take a friend camping with the unique Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Expedition Tent. The Mountain tent has resistant DAC NSL poles included, which makes this tent strong and light as a feather. Thanks to the watertight structure with a fully taped fly, it makes this product waterproof. This product comes with a proprietary evolution tension arch that stabilizes the tent, using fewer poles and letting you reduce your packing space. The pitch light configuration on this tent lets you set up a superlight accommodation, using only the tent fly, the poles and the footprint. Comments about Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Expedition Tent - 2012 Model:

This tent is strong, well made. I've never taken it out on an expedition. I sent mine back mainly because it was heavy (about 10 lbs.) and bulky. You'll need a rather large back pack to carry this in it's stuff sack (I'd say 85 Liters or more). Because the material is heavy, it's not very breathable. It gets really stuffy inside! It only has one vent at the top (besides the two door vents), which is small, and it won't do you any good when the fly is over it because the fly does NOT open up where the top vent is. I would say that this is strictly an alpine-only tent, and not suitable for typical winter camping -- that is if you want to breath clearly. You definitely don't want to use this tent in a humid environment.
