Comments about Mountain Hardwear Exposure Parka for Men:

This jacket is awesome, not only for it's heritage, but it's versatility as well. The material is a soft supple softshell type, that oddly enough does not seem to snag or pill with regular use. In addition to this it utilizes Dry.Q Elite, which makes it the lowest priced air permeable laminate jacket in the MHW line up. In addition to this the fit is loose enough that you can layer underneath it easily, and use it in cold wet weather. My only qualm is that it does not feature a powder skirt. Add in a removable powder skirt and I am sold for life.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Exposure Parka for Men:

The first time I wore this parka was a winter hike to the summit of Mount Washinton in NH and it performed flawlessly. It breathes well in cold conditions and has plenty of space for mid layers.

returned the XL for an L. i am 6'2", 190#. no waist cinch cord on updated model, but styling is improved DryQ Elite fabric is beathable and quiet. wanted this for the longer length (32") which makes a difference in extended showers. the cut is somewhat baggy to accomodate layers, not athletic fit. Sunny Sports processed return with no hassle, sent me UPS packing slip because i was exchanging. thanks, Sunny Sports. oh yeah, the price was right too!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Exposure Parka for Men:

The best outer-layer/jacket that I have ever own. This is not as light as some of there other higher end models, but for me thats a good thing. The material is not as soft-shell feeling which for skiing or other snow sports will make the jacket stronger, especially when you fall down! The jacket is a little big on me and I actually needed to use a size smaller than what I was used to, but then this is made to go over other layers!

This jacket Rocks! Looks really good, I like that they have changed the logo to a more subtle gray. You could wear this with business casual. Feels great, I would suggest sizing down. I usually wear an XL with anything MH but with this jacket a Large fits perfect with room to layer. Best price on the web at sunnysports.

              Questions about this item:

Tad H  I am replacing a much loved Moonstone jacket, muched loved because at 6'3" and 185 it fit me... especially the sleeves. This jacket has the features I want but I am concerned about the size after one reviewer said he usually takes a XL but large fits him fine. Any tall guys out there that have this jacket?
ERIC A  i'm 6'2", 190. i bought the XL but will be exchanging it for the L. the cut is big, designed for layering. also there's no waist hem cord for adjusting, the XL was a little bit billowy, i could have layered a fleece jacket + a down vest or a bulky down jacket under there and still had some room. that's basically more room than i need. MH is weird like that, sometimes their L fits me perfectly and sometimes i have to go XL. btw, other than that, the updated Exposure is a good jacket. the DryQ fabric is soft and very breathable.
alfred y  The 2011 version of this jacket had a cinch at the waist. Does the cinch still exist in the newer version?
MICHAEL M  Hi Alfred, The cinch does not exist. This jacket is very comfortable because it is very breathable. You will feel the difference if you wear the same type of jacket with different brand. Best regards, Michael M.
