I've been on 2 motorcycle camping trips in Temps to the upper thirties since my Klimit purchase 2 weeks ago. The warmest part of me was the parts against the sleeping pad. The insulation really works well. The Klimit is 3 times as thick as the pro lite when inflated, so I can also shift to my side comfortably. It is also 6 inches wider, allowing my elbows to be on the pad. Lastly, it rolls up smaller than the pro lite and easily fits back into the storage sack. It takes me 13 full breaths to ...inflate, vs 4 for the pro lite. I would buy it again.
Used first time at 34F. The R value of 4.4 for the static V insulated pad was plenty. Did not feel any heat transfer. This pad takes 14 full breaths to inflate fully and deflates quickly. Rolling up not too difficult with some practice. Comes with its own stuff sack and patch kit. Gets down to very compact size. When compared to my wife's Thermarest trail pro 2" thick self inflating foam mattress it felt almost as comfortable but the Thermarest felt a little more stable. However t...his mattress is half the volume when packed and 5oz lighter making better for backpacking. Was a toss up between getting this and the Thermarest trail light pro. Glad I went with this since its warmer and thicker. Completely keeps you off the ground. Slept comfortably and very few aches the next morning.
