Hi I am looking for trekking poles that aren't to expensive. I know these are junior but I'm only 5' tall and weight about 105 lbs. Are the ok for adult use?
AARON E
Yes! Your specs are definitely within the range of the Peak Hunter's target user group. In fact, given your height/weight, using a full size pair would only mean lugging extra material without any measurable return. The one thing I would keep in mind is that the grip has a slightly smaller circumference than an adult pair. This can be remedied by applying a few layers of electrical tape, if needed. Best of luck!

I have not used my poles on a long hike yet because I was recovering from foot surgery when i got them. However, I tried them on a very long, steep hill in my yard. The seem to work well. I am 4 feet 11.5 inches tall and I weigh 112 pounds. I have not used poles before but many of the folks in our walking club and Silent Sporters Club use them. I was looking for an inexpensive pair that would fit me and these seem to be perfect. The handle grips are perfect for my small hands.

Yes. I bought these for my wife who is 5' 7" 115lbs with very small hands and they have worked very well for her. We have hiked in the Rockies and Appalachians with them.

Yes. They will work fine. They are very sturdy and adjustable.

Yes, these are pretty sturdy sticks and elongate nearly as long as my "adult" poles.
