Comments about Kelty Acadia 4 Tent:

This tent has been a fantastic buy. It has been used about 10 times this year here in North Carolina. It has held up to torrential downpours and thunderstorms with NO leaking - even while it stood in 1-1.5" of water. It is a dream to set up - only takes about 5 minutes. Fits 2-3 three people comfortably, usually its just me and the boyfriend but we carry lots of gear, all of which fits nicely inside. The vestibule easily fits backpacks/firewood/large dogs (in my case) in case it rains. Washes up great, too. The only bad thing is that I think it would be too heavy for long distance backpackers, I think its about 12 pounds (double check, I'm not sure). But otherwise I definitely recommend this product, I just love it!

Comments about Kelty Acadia 4 Tent:

My son and I used this tent on a trout fishing trip to NE Iowa in late July. We own 2 other smaller Kelty tents and love them all. When we arrived at the camp ground it was 11pm. We had never set-up the tent prior to this outing and had no trouble setting it up (15 min. tops) in the dark using minimal light. We do a lot of camping so this did help with set-up. Tear down was very easy and everything even the added tarp fit back into the carrying case. I would highly recommend.

      Questions about this item:

Shopper  Does this tent come with stakes or are they sold separate?
CAITLIN S  It comes with stakes which work well in soft ground. If you plan to camp on hard soil or icy soil, I recommend getting stronger stakes. Enjoy!
