We haven't been able to use the pole because we needed to purchase 2....I think the sales/marketing of this item was a bit deceptive....perhaps I should have realized that the poles didn't come as a set, but the illustration of the Noah tarp with poles does not make it clear that you need to actually purchase 2. I just assumed and now have to wait another week + before they arrive.

Purchased 4 of these and took a section out of each to get my tarp a little lower. I love the adjustablilty of these poles to get my tarp working just perfect.

This pole is made of steel with a length of 78 inches and a weight of only 0.7 lbs., you are getting a pole easy to carry and store. There is a 2 in. grommet pin on top, to secure your tarp safely. An additional PVC cap on the bottom, prevents the pole from slipping, thus delivering a perfect grip. The pole can be broken down to 4 x 21 inch pieces, to make them easier to pack and carry. I purchased 2 of mine 10/10 & I Believe it is for one single pole. The easily fit in my Noahs Tarp bag. I also use them with my SOL renforced survival blanket. Makes a Great beach sun shelter. Smaller than Noahs therfore better in the wind.

The 6 smaller poles are connected by a shock cord. There are regarded as six segments and when alingned will create one pole.

the tip is 3/16 or 5mm.

Its difficult to measure the round pins with a flat ruler, but as near as I can
tell, they are 3/16 of an inch diameter.
A word of advise. Handle with care. The pole metal as quite soft and if
you step on them or pile stuff on them, its real easy to get the connecting
ends out of round and they won't go together correctly Difficult to get round again.
