Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Internal Pack:

This is my third Kelty pack and I have never had a problem with their products. This pack is easy to load, and has plenty of pockets for those that like to organize. Despite the fact that it doesn't have a designated sleeping bag compartment, you can still access your gear from the zippered opening in the center of the pack. The suspension is supportive and the hip belt and shoulder straps provide comfort while carrying your gear. I had this loaded with 30lbs and was comfortable with no neck, shoulder or back pain experienced. All in all a solid product!

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Internal Pack:

Great Pack. Nicely adjustable. The only complaint is that the belt wasn't able to go smaller for a woman's waist. I bought this pack for my wife (5'4" size 8), and she can't quite snug the hip belt like she needs too.

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  What improvements were made from this bag to the Coyote 80? Are the advances worth the extra money? I am buying this for my 16 year old son who will be hiking at Philmont next summer.
SunnySports S  Kelty renamed all of its new 2011 packs in liters instead of cubic inchs. So the Coyote 80 is the updated 2011 version of the 2010 Coyote 4750. The differences include. The stays are not parallel which focuses weight on hips for easier carrying, the hip padding is different and it has an HDPE sheeting. If these things are important to him then yes its worth the money, but the 4750 is still a great pack regardless of the updates. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
Shopper  What is the main difference between this pack and the Kelty Red Cloud?
SunnySports S  The main difference is the Red Cloud has a sleeping bag compartment, the Red Cloud is also a little longer and little taller. I hope that helps. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
