Comments about Kelty Noah's Tarp 16 Shelter:

Our friends had one on a raft trip, we set it up between two trees and used two oars for the other supports. It made a great kitchen cover so we could cook in the rain. I went home right away and bought one.

Comments about Kelty Noah's Tarp 16 Shelter:

Tarp can be put up by one person, two is better. We use it as a rain shelter on canoe overniters. We also pitch two two man tents under with out rainflies in hot weather. Still have room to sit out of the sun..

              Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
WILLIAM P  Pleased with 9 footer. Wanted extra cover.
Shopper  Kelty's websiite shows a much darker colored looking product, no options. Is this an older model of Kelty's? ____________ if so what year?_____ and have they changed the product in other ways as well since, thickness, reinforced diff. at guy out area's, etc.
DANIEL E  I bought mine in 2009 and it is dark blue with off white lettering. Otherwise I can't see any difference. It may be that they just change colors every so often. I have used mine 7 times at the Boundary Water Canoe Area and it has worked great - no problems. We usually have 6-8 people on our trips so the size is nice as it fits all of us under it when it rains. It's also nice to keep gear under it so you have more room in your tent.
Shopper  hi. what color is it? white or ivory or broun?
DAN L  Just a little darker than Ivory. Of the 3 sizes available I recommend the middle size.
