Comments about Kelty K.I.D.S. Frame Child Carrier FC 1.0:

After reviewing several other products I settled on this one. I wasn't sure, mainly cause of storage... Now that I have it, the diff between all of them is prob mainly storage. You can still fit a fair amount in this and kids and spouse's can help lighten the load too. I'm sure just like all the others, if there is no table or bench around it can be a little tricky to get it on. Was comfortable though, did agravate my back issues that I have though.. but I think any would have, my bad not theres... I would purchase again and recomend this to anyone. Except if your mabye going to the andes or something then you might want a little more storage. Great for day hikes!

Keri K  What age range is this Kelty K.I.D.S. Frame Child Carrier FC 1.0 for? My niece just had a baby and wants something like this.
KEVIN M  I'm sure it varies but this carrier fit our daughter starting around 5 months and still fits her with plenty room to grow at 22 months. I don't think pediatricians recommend back carriers for infants under 6 months because of the risk of suffocation if they can't be seen. Front carriers work better for young babies and there are a few soft carriers that convert from front to back. We got one made by Ergobaby and it works fine for walking to the store. But still, for longer hikes, or if our daughter is likely to fall asleep, the rigid Kelty backpack is preferable.
Shopper  can i buy replacement lenses for the Tifosi Ventoux from you?
SunnySports S  Sorry, not at this time, but the buyers are working on it! Have Fun Out There! Carl
