We bought this for our new Kelty Outfitter 4, and it is great!! It attaches as promised, and has a hook for a lantern plus a pocket for glasses.

I now have 4 tents and I've bought this gear loft for 3 of them. The only reason I didn't put the gear loft in the 4th tent is because it's a 1 person tent with no loops for a gear loft and no real headroom for one. After putting this gear loft in my first 3 person tent, a Kelty Outfitter Pro 3, I was spoiled forever. My tents all have 2-4 pockets sewn in near floor level but it isn't easy to see if you've left anything in them. With this gear loft, you can quickly empty your pockets and all your stuff is visible at a glance right above you. If you wear eyeglasses like me, there are even 2 pockets built in specifically for your glasses. Having fragile stuff like eyeglasses up off the floor means they are a lot less likely to get broken. In the morning, it's hard to forget to grab the stuff off the gear loft and put it back in your pockets before packing up the tent. It also makes it easy to place a headlamp or your iPhone overhead to illuminate the tent without having to worry about hanging it from a hook. The gear loft adds almost no weight and at least in my two 3 person tents and my 2 person tent, it doesn't eat up enough headroom to make that a consideration. I've found that this is pretty much a universal gear loft. Two of the tents I put it in are not Kelty tents but the shock cords and clips worked just fine to customize the fit. I think this will work for pretty much any 2-3 person tent with a basically rectangular shape as long as it has gear loft loops sewn in. Installation takes just seconds once you have the tent set up. And it's plenty strong enough to hold a wallet, keys, pocket knife, phone, headlamp, and your glasses. Highly recommended!
