About Kelty Cosmic 20F Synthetic Bag - Long Size

Kelty Cosmic 20F Synthetic Bag
The Kelty Cosmic 20F Synthetic Bag is a warm and comfortable sleeping bag ideal for budget trips and camping. The anti-snag design of the zipper on the sleeping bag, ensures that the zip doesn't slide up and down while you sleep. The differential cut maximizes warmth. The drawcords are useful to customize the fit of this sleeping bag. This bag is great for people up to the height of 6 ft. 6 in. The ground-level side seams prevent heat from escaping the sleeping bag. During the day, you can hang up your sleeping bag with the hang loops to make space in your tent. Questions about this item:

Shopper  How is the twilight different?
Jessica S  The twilight color does not have the black polka dots.
Joseph D  Is theis sleeping bag made out of down?
JOHN K  The one I bought in '09 was synthetic and they continued to make these thru 2011. There is a down bag, but it was made after '09 and both models have been discontinued (and the down is DUCK down and is a lot lower quality than goose down). If you live somewhere where it's very humid and/or significant rain, the synthetic is the best way to go.
Shopper  I am interested in buying this product for my daughter-in-law. I am deciding between the regular and long version. The one is 72 inches and the other is 84. I don't mind spending the extra for the longer one but want to be certain it is the best one for her. She is between 5'6" and 5'". Is there any down side from buying the longer one if she is the height I have listed? Is there an up side buying a little larger? Thanks for a quick response! KG
MARK K  I am 6 ft 3 and the extra length fits me well. I don't think that it would be a problem buying the longer size. My wife is 5 ft 7 and she has the regular size with a few inches to spare. Its a great sleeping bag. If she's five foot to five six I would suggest the 72.
