I have heard these don't stay on that well when the dog is running. I mountain bike with my dog so I need something that can remain on for a couple hours. Do you have any experience with this?
DOUGLAS W Sorry, we haven't used them, yet.
JENNY L Yes - these are the ONLY booties that stay on. We mountain bike and backpack all the time with our dog with booties. His pads get completely torn up without them. We have been using booties for 8 years, and have tried lots of different brands - these are by far the best. Just strap them on really tight and they stay on just fine. Other dog booties are not shaped like the dog's foot (with the ankle bend) and fall off really easily. If your dog is as hard on his feet as our dog (skidding stops and lots of extra miles), these will wear out after about 50 miles. We buy faux leather upholstery fabric at a fabric store, then turn the bootie inside out and use spray glue to attach a piece to the inside of the sole. This makes them last at least twice as long.
ZANE S They tore the first day at the toe!! They stay on u just have to make sure they r tight! They run REAL BIG!! Zane is a big dog but still to big!!! I would suggest taking your pet to PetSmart and trying on the shoes their!!
