Is this considered a high back?
The back hits right below the shoulder blades. These seats are GREAT! They are the only was to go! They make canoeing a comfortable experience. They also have a little 'give' so the aren't stiff seats
I would not consider it a high back chair.I am 6ft. 2in. and its a pretty good height for me not to low.If you are over 200 lbs. like me it sometimes gives a little in the straps and works its way back a bit.But all and all its a pretty good little seat and easy to transport.
Not sure what is considered a high back but this seat worked well for both my husband and me (I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6'0"). We use these in our canoe and we were very happy with these seats. The back provided support but didn't restrict our movement (we use our canoe for fishing). Hope this helps.
I'd say the seat back is high enough for very good comfortable. I'm a big guy and it hits me at the shoulder blades and supports me well. Had 2 of them for several years and overall very pleased...high quality and well built.
Not high, but it does give enough support to be comfortable...
I dont know spec's for comparison between low back or high back seats, but I personally would consider this high back. It provides exceptional comfort on my canoe for hours of fishing and paddling, where as without them a couple hours is too uncomfortable. I couldnt imagine a similar seat with a higher back. hope this helps.
That depends on how tall you are. Iam 5, 7 and it fits me fine, not too tall or short. Does that help?. Have a good day.
Yes it sits up pretty good and offers great support
I am not aure of the definition of a high back --but it is the most back supportive and comfortable canoe chair I have found. I have used mine for 2 weeks each year for the past 5 years and it is still in great shaoe.
