About Exped MultiMat

Exped MultiMat
The Exped MultiMat is a versatile mat that provides durable, waterproof insulation for limitless applications. It can be used as a ground cover for your tent, a picnic mat on snowshoe trips, or as an emergency sleeping mattress if your mattress is punctured. The nylon top is comfortable and soft to touch. The EVA foam on the other side makes it waterproof, warm, and tough while providing insulation against surface moisture, cold, and stones. It is large enough for two adults to spread out comfortably. The lightweight snaps on long edges allow it to be folded and secured lengthwise for use as a sleeping mat. Using these snaps, two or more MultiMats can be connected side-by-side. Insulation and comfort can be increased by stuffing with clothing, foliage or your pack. Choose the Exped MultiMat for your outdoor activities

Questions about this item:

Shopper  how much does this weigh?
ERIK G  The MultiMat weighs 11oz, and the stuff sack weighs 1oz.
Donna A  What's the lightest & "best" pad I can get for under $50? I'm new to backpacking, so weight (then comfort) is a huge issue for me!
DAVID R  very thin , but it does add some comfot on rough ground. i use it as a place to sit around camp or during stops. two of us can sit and stay dry if ground is wet. minimal r value but i also put it under my big agnes sleeping bag (as the exped syn 9 sleeping mat slips inside the pocket in the bag ) keeping the bag bottom cleaner. i like and use it all the time. hope this helps your decision dave
