this is a good tent for the money. it sets up easy and is fairly light (not backpack light)i bought it for my wife and i for a 7 day camping trip. it fits two of us fine but no extra room for gear. it was perfect for what i used it for. i have always liked eureka tents they are made sturdy and made to hold up in the weather. this is a good tent for a weekend camper.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 5 Tent (2011 Model - While supply lasts):

We took this tent on a backpacking trip recently and it was very comfortable for two and very easy to set up after a long day hiking. Had clear skys so we did not set up the rain fly and slept under the stars and had plenty of room to sleep without rolling over into the other person. All the seams were factory sealed so I expect it not to leak in the rain and the floor is a tub design so we did not worry about scorpions and critters getting in. Although this tent was over 5 lbs we split the load and neither of us had over 3 lbs ea. This is by far the best we could find for less than $100. Sunny Sports is the best.[...] Thanks, you guys are becoming my go to store for outdoor shopping.

Comments about Eureka Tetragon 5 Tent (2011 Model - While supply lasts):

One of the best purchases I've made in a while. Will fit 2 people comfortably, with room for a medium-sized dog. The only times in which I've experienced moisture in the tent are an occasion where I camped out a ridge and woke up in a cloud, and another time when I slept on top of snow.

For the price, you can't get a better tent. Would suggest a tarp for underneath, as the bottom of the tent seems like it might tear on a sharp rock or some thorns.

My tent experience has included rain everytime and waterproof it is!!! Easy to set up plus comfortable for two! Extra stash pockets that come with the tent are an added plus for quick to get to amenities. This was a smart affordable purchase for myself.

            Questions about this item:

Kamran L  Is this a great tent?
JEREMY N  This tent has many great features including a fully sealed bottom. I have used it in very rainy and windy conditions and stayed dry. It's major downfall is that the tent poles are extremely weak. I broke the first one after my first camping trip and broke the other several years later. Both of these instances were under stressful environmental conditions so it depends on intended use.
