What kind of zippers does this have( very important ) ?
Is the tent and fly already water repellent coated or would I have to do that ?
68D floor seems kind of thin for a floor ?
BRIAN M I'm not sure about various zippers used in the construction of tents. But, I can tell you that ours worked just fine and never bound up. I bought this tent because of the various reviews about the manufacturer, not about the characteristics of the tent. To protect the flooring of the back room of the tent and to give a floor to the front room (as it is open to the ground) I used and older tarp to lay out across the ground before pitching the tent. Only some manufacturers suggest using a tarp or something to protect the flooring from sticks, rocks or hidden objects left behing from previous users. Most tent manufacturers, including this one, highly suggest using a seam sealer and/or fabic repelent. I used a product called E-6000, a craft industry type of adhesive for a seam sealer. Once I go the knack of the application on the seams it worked just fine and I will never have to worry about leaking seams. Any good frabric repelent will work well if allowed to dry 24 hours before use. If you camp several time s a year it would be good to apply it once a year. You just don't want to get wet when you are in the tent! Happy Camping, Brian
