Very nice, roomy tent. Moved up from the Copper Canyon 8 to the 12. The additional room is quite useful and the double doors are handy. The rain fly covers a lager area and the extra pole in the middle of the fly should reduced pooling. Set up was quick and easy,
Beautiful family tent.

I have been a minimalist backpack style camper for many years. Married, child etc has changed this to comfort driven car camping. The tents kept growing and I finally pulled the cord for a vertical wall cabin tent. I was skeptical about the storm strength but when set up correctly and all tie downs in place this tent is very sturdy. (I normally use no tie cords, just corners...) Have had it out in stormy conditions with a lot of wind and rain and not a drip.
This tent is very roomy with clos...e to a room height ceiling. The room divider is very nice. There are two doors which would be great with the divider up although we have my daughter's side zip tied from the inside. Loads of window area and ceiling vent. When all open it airs out better than any tent I have owned regardless of size or price. The front awning is nice for shade or rain, (unless you have a Noa's Tarp!)
Set up is not for the faint of heart! I have it down to where I can set it up solo but it took a few times. The tent material is a very light Dacron which is lighter and stronger than rip stop nylon but the poles are steel. I appreciate the strength but they are heavy.
Bottom line, for a family or group cabin style tent this thing is beautiful. Could sleep 10 adults but for 3 of us with a queen and king it's wonderful.

Yes a rain fly cover comes with the tent. There is still a lot of air flow even with it on. We love our "Cabin"!!!
ERNEST J
Yes it does.
RAFAEL G
Yes it does, in fact the first time we used this tent it rained on us every night for 3 nights - it was amazingly dry!
JOHN M
Yes, it has a rainfly cover. We have had to only use it once in a light rain so I cannot tell you how well it will work in a rain storm. We have used the tent several times this year and we love the spacious size of the tent and how (relatively) easy it is to set up.

My husband and I were in a huge rain storm this past 4th of July and this tent with rain fly shed all the water! There wasn't a drop inside :)

Does this model have the awning that gives a covered area outside a door? I've seen it in many pictures, but it didn't list it on this site or Eureka's.
JEFF H
no this model does not. they no longer make the other model of this size that had the awning
RAFAEL G
No awning is the model - wish it had it like the prior years model this replaced.
JEAN G
No, it has rain cover that extends slightly over the door but there is no awning. Hope this helps.
JENNIFER K
No it does not have an awning that I can remember. We have only used this once and it is an awesome tent. We love it. Very roomy and easy to put up.

What are the dimensions and does it all have floor covering how many rooms how many doors?
STEPHANIE G
The dimensions are on the website. The floor is thin and similar to the material of the rest of the tent. We use a tarp under the tent and have a large floor carpet we put down inside of the tent. There are no "rooms" but there is one divider that can be hing up to separate into 2 sections. There are 2 doors. We are pleased overall....
JEFF H
The size is 14x12 and has a sewn in floor.it hasa removable divder to make 2 equal rooms with 2 doors

The tent is 15 x 12. It is very spacious though due to the mostly vertical walls. It is east to stand and move around in. It is one large room with a center divider thatyou have the ability to hang up. It is not separate rooms in the traditional sense, however it is great if you want to take down the divider and have a large space for games or what not. There are two doors (one on each side) the top is great for star gazing when you take off the rain tarp. The bottom is seemingly made from the same material as the sides. Very comfortable. You may want an under tarp if you are going somewhere rocky, However I have camped 3 times and there have been no rips. It seems to be well constructed. I love the tent.
