Does it have an internal frame or is it just soft?
It's a semi-ridged plastic board that is sewn into the backing, behind the padding. It flexes a bit when you wear it, so you don't feel it. It's a great pack!
It has a semi rigid plastic sheet type frame. No aluminum stays or anything. I found it very comfy loaded full of gear and clothes.
No internal frame
It's just soft.
No real frame, the back is padded for comfort.. However it's a great back pack!! Very durable and spacious! I used mine for back packing in Europe.. Hope this I helpful..
No internal frame.
It has an internal frame. I've had it for 6 months now and I really like it. I had Kelty packs before (Redwing) but they stopped making the style I liked. This has lots of storage and it's well designed. Price is excellent as well.
It has a flexible plastic plate sewn into the back area.
There is no frame, but It is stiffened/padded against your back
Its just a soft pack.
Just soft, but since it's a smaller pack it doesn't really need a frame unless you're carrying a heavy load
It has a plastic frame sheet. I really like mine, good padding, well made, holds a ton!
No internal frame in the traditional sense. It does, however, have a rather stiff foam backing.
I'd say this is in between a floppy day pack and a framed camping pack. Lots of space, waist belt, adjustments, but not quite up to carrying 55.lbs around. Too big for just some granola bars and a sweater. Perfect for an all day hike.
A frame ? No.
Does it have padding? Yes.
If I checked this at te airport. I would be scared of my glass and breakables.
For throwing it in the back seat. No problem.
Laptop and having it tossed. I would feel safe.
This bag is really nice.
Just went to china with it and hiked around. I love it but I am not a hiker or daily user of this bag. More of a twice a month user and I would buy again for my needs
