I am a fan of Eureka products because they are of good quality at fairly reasonable prices and this pack is no exception.

The one size fits all design does not seem to be a problem for me as I am of average height though this might be a problem for others.

There is plenty of room in the pack for a 3 to 4 day packing trip. I like the exterior compartments and detachable top day pack and the long pockets under the side compartments are good for carrying tent polls. When we split our tent I get the polls and my wife gets the fabric.

The reason that this is very good pack and not a great pack is because there is no internal separator stuff area for a sleeping bag (I guess the long pockets precludes such an arrangement) so I had to buy a compression bag for this purpose. Also, the day pack design was a little hard to figure out as to how to carry it separately. I finally figured out that the plastic clips on it connect together and the hollow formed by their connection is a place to pass your belt through. I think this could have been a better design with an included belt.
