The footprint is constructed of the same material as that of tent floor. It features webbing stake out loops, grommets, and half of the required side release buckle (the tent has the other half). The advantage of using the footprint is that is keeps the bottom clean for packing and you may easily pack to your tent back when leaving your camp site. it creates a lightweight and compact shelter and reduces carry weight by more than 25%. The Lite-Set Footprint adds durability and versatility to your tent. When used as a footprint, it protects the tent floor from punctures, wear and tear.
