Eureka Footprint for Scenic Pass 2 / Apex 2 / Apex 2XTThe Eureka Footprint for Scenic Pass 2 / Apex 2 / Apex 2XT is a very important addition to the tent. This footprint protects the tent floor from damage by rocks or roots which may destroy the tent when not taken care of, as it is constructed of heavy duty 6 mm. polythene that resists wear and tear. The footprint adds an extra layer of resistance to water and protects you from getting wet while sleeping inside the tent. The problem when using a tent is that the bottom gets quite dirty and makes it difficult to pack and bring along with all your other gear, which may then also get dirty. The advantage of using the footprint is that is keeps the bottom clean for packing, and allows easy packing when you are leaving your campsite. The footprint has been pre-sized to fit the shape of you tent. The Eureka Footprint for Scenic Pass 2 / Apex 2 / Apex 2XT is a must have product for your tent.
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Will this floor saver work for a Mountain Pass 2 XTE tent? I do not want to use the cheap plastic one that Eureka recommends. Looks like they are close to the same size.

P.S. my tent is actually the Apex 2XT

I bought one with my Eureka Apex 2 tent and it's great - very light and easy to pack. To be sure, find the measurements of your tent floor and compare to specs for the footprint. My footprint is a little bigger all around than the floor, but not by much.

As long as the footprint is smaller than the base of your tent it should be fine.

is this footprint could fit on eureka forte sq?
BRIAN A
Not really, it is a square and is not cut to the tent. It is cut just big enough for the tent.
It is better than a blue tarp. And the tent does need one. But it is not a nice perfect fit like alot of Rei/North Face, Marmot tents.
Happy Camping!

NO this one is a little bigger....There is one made specifically for the forte sq 2 so you can have the option to use just the fly, poles, and footprint to make a shelter.

i would go to the eureka website and check floor size there. I love the footprint.

I'm only familiar with the Apex 2XT, however you could compare your forte's dimensions (length x width) with the Apex 2XT's dimensions and you would know for sure.

Our scout troop only uses the Apex 2XT tents, and I know that they fit this footprint pretty well.
