Comments about Coleman Montana 6 Tent:

I only have one complaint about this tent and that is the size of the "doormat" to stake down in front of the door is too small. I have used this tent many times by myself and absolutely love it. Best tent I have owned. I have also loaned it out to a family of 4 and they said it was very nice and had plenty of room for them as well. However they did mention that the kids slept on the ground while they shared a queen air mattress so they would have some floor space left.

Comments about Coleman Montana 6 Tent:

We bought this tent to fit on our ATV trailer as to not have to sleep on the ground. It is a perfect fit and the door overhang is nice for keeping shoes dry. We have not yet slept in the tent. Was going to wait until we actually used the tent before giving a review, but Sunnysports keeps e-mailing me to review it. They sent me 20 e-mails today alone to review the tent, so I'm hoping they will stop after this review. I was happy with Sunnysports services up until this e-mailing episode. Ridiculous.

Comments about Coleman Montana 6 Tent:

Our 6 person tent is nice, but not really big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. I loved how easy it set up. My 7 year old and i put it up. The power cord slot was great to have for a fan and lights. The windows need to be lower so the roof does not cover them. We will use the tent a lot next year, but may need a 2nd tent bigger for comfort.

Comments about Coleman Montana 6 Tent:

Instructions are vague on fly set up. I like that they are attached to the bag and are waterproof so that they wont get lost or ruined. We used it on a night when a storm blew through. the fly blew off and we had to seek cover. It is plent big and we would have enjoyed it more if it hadnt rained. We are going to set it up again in our backyard and try other ways to get the fly secured. We love this tent and cant wait to use it again.

Comments about Coleman Montana 6 Tent:

I liked this tent. GEtting it from SunnySports for cheaper than anyone else was also nice. I actually got it to fit in the original package when I refolded it up when I was done! Poured rain the first day I used it and the water was kept out.

      A couple minor issues were:

The fly...long string lines to stretch it tight.
foot print bigger than I expected but it is a big tent.
not enough airflow even with all vents opened. couldn't nap when in the sun.
The little opening in teh back for power cords and venting? teh zipper didn't work.

I liked that it folded up very compact and fit back in the bag. Colour coded poles would have been a nice touch.

I don't think I'm going to keep this tent though. I think I'm going to go with the Eureka Copper Canyon 10. I saw someone who had that set up and it was amazingly large and roomy with a smaller footprint.
