I got this specifically for a ski trip and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable, can keep keys, raincoat, etc in the pack all while staying hydrated.

I don't see why it would not be good for hot weather. I would think the insulated tube would keep the water cooler for you. I also would not think it would be any hotter to wear than any other backback.

No reason it wouldn't be just as useful in warm weather. If anything, I'd think the insulated hose would help keep your liquid a bit cooler than one that's not insulated. The bladder itself isn't any different than a warm weather pack.

I use mine in all weather. In hot weather I believe it keeps the water colder longer.

Does it have a sternum strap?

To add, the sternum strap is adjustable. It can be shortened/lengthened and it also slides up and down the shoulder harnesses to find a comfortable position. One side of the strap has an elastic band with a longer nylon strap to give it some flex with your movement. The nylon piece stops the elastic from over-stretching. All in all, I thought the sternum strap was one of the best designed aspects of this pack.

Yes it does. It's a great pack. I was going to go with the zoid but this one has more room to put your keys and power bars. Enjoy

It does have one. If you are a petite person, the strap doesn't tighten as much as you might like, but for someone with broader shoulders, this would fit snugly.
