I just began getting back into hiking as a senior. I choose the mini M.U.L.E. because it has 2 zipper pockets and 1 overflow pocket. The lower zip pocket has a key clip and a mesh holder and the size is greater than full hand length. The upper smaller pock is finger tip to heel of hand. The water bag has a very large opening for refill and also a paddle to hold while filling. This is genius design. The Water bag is secured inside by an elastic loop that goes over the 2 plastic hooks at the ...top of the bag, so bag does fall down. There is a whistle!!on the front clasp-again genius design.Reflectors and on the backpack and the shoulder straps. After one fill, I learned how to use the bag. The sucking end of the tube again is genius. A flip lever, which identifies which way is flow and which way is not, allows water to go into a BITE valve. One bite and suck in the water. I am glad I did not shop around as this is perfect. Bought at LL Bean.
