      Comments about Camelbak Antidote Reservoir:

Finally switched from bottles and canteens to the antidote since everyone else was doing it. BIG mistake. Backpack has been wet on EVERY hike since I started using. Finally diagnosed the problem - seal of the cap breaks under the weight of the water when the bladder is hung from the hook. Water is squeezed out every time there is a movement of the bladder.

        Comments about Camelbak Antidote Reservoir:

The new quick-release connector for the tube does not leak. Good feature for easy cleaning, rinsing. Otherwise, same as prior reservoir, but a little more compact. It is a little wider so it sits higher on the back, which I like.

Best Camelbak reservoir ever made. I have been using Camelbaks since they were made back in the early 90s and this is what we have been waiting for. The quick disconnects are awesome

              Comments about Camelbak Antidote Reservoir:

My son is an avid hiker and outdoors enthusiast. His old reservoir punctured and was quite bulky. The reviews pointed me to this particular one and per my son's comments it was perfect. Can't beat the prices at Sunny Sports.

              Questions about this item:

Shopper  Can you use this in packs other than a Camelbak? Like a regular day pack with a reservoir compartment?
KEN W  Yes, these can easily be used in a pack other than a camelback. I use it in a very large backpack of another brand, that has a large hydration sleeve. there are a number of connect points on the top of the camelback reservoir that allow it to be used in a range of compartments. I have the large, 3-liter model, so it is big, but it can be used in daypacks as well. I carried it in an REI "flash" series pack, on our final ascent to Humboldt Peak in the summer of 2011. I also carried it in my High Sierra Long Trail 90 as we did 80 miles in Philmont in the summer of 2012. So, not only versatile, but durable.
