Comments about Camelbak Alpine Explorer 100 oz. Hydration Pack - 2010 Model:

I spent days researching which camelbak i wanted, because of the size of the purchase i wanted the one fitted best for my needs, and by that i mean the biggest. The 2010 Alpine explorer is the biggest for its cost with way more room in it than i need. [...] i will use Sunnysports again

Comments about Camelbak Alpine Explorer 100 oz. Hydration Pack - 2010 Model:

The pack fits great on the back and is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing a pack at all! The media and sunglass pockets work really well with my ipod. Tons of storage room, yet with the ability to cinch the pack up when it is emptier. This keeps the pack close to your body and comfortable. Great pack for any day, or couple day, adventure! Just bought a second pack for my father.

I use this bag for day hiking and I love it! I has lots of space and extra pockets for gear and extras. It has a large water tank but it is still super light weight, and really comfortable to wear.

                Questions about this item:

Shopper  What is the weight limit for this bag?
SunnySports S  It is roughly 22-25 lbs. You can put more , I have done so but it isn't comfortable and you wear out the pack. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
Shopper  Does this model year have the built in rain cover on the bottom of the pack?
SunnySports S  This model does not come with a rain cover. Only the Alpine explorer INTL comes with a rain cover I believe. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
Shopper  Does this pack come with side mesh pockets capable of holding a 32 oz bottles 1 on each side?
SunnySports S  Yes, the Alpine Explorer has 2 side mesh pockets capable of holding 32 oz bottles. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
