Questions about this item:

Shopper  What model year is it and does it change for DST to 2099?
LARRY W  I bought my PRW2500T in December 2012. I am not sure if the one being advertised now is a newer model or not. All of the features seem to be the same, and the face looks identical. My watch receives the radio signal just about every night, overnight and keeps the time correct to the second. It does automatically adjust for DST and back to Standard time. I have no idea if that feature would still work in 2099. What do you expect to change about the changeover by then? Actually, I have no idea why you would be concerned about that. Every piece of electronics has a limited lifetime. At some point, the electronics are going to "wear out." If this watch lasted half that long, I would very pleased and totally amazed, although I guess it would have to be one of my grandchildren or their grandchildren to see that the watch was still working in 2099! For this price, buy the watch, and enjoy the features for as long as it works!
