Comments about Casio PAW1300A-3V Green Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder:

This watch has been just about all I expected. It is actually a little lighter than I was expecting. The green color is a little different to get used to but I needed a watch that had a plastic band to wear for work. I work on an offhsore rig in the North Sea so the world time has been really nice. The automatic time set has been great. It works perfectly from my home in Utah and worked when I was in Aberdeen Scotland as well. It has not updated while I am on the actual rig but that is about 100 miles north of the northern most part of Scotland and I really wasnt expecting it to. The auto light is nice for getting the time in a dark room. The alarm is not as loud as I would like it to be though. I can sleep right through that thing. Plus, it takes quite a few button pushes to get that thing set the way you want it. The instruction manual works pretty well but I am a guy and I only read the stuff that I cant figure out on my own. The compass, altimeter and barometer are really just neat gadgets to me and I think that they should be seen as that by pretty much everyone. I would not use them as a primary source of information but they are a great backup if you need them while out camping or something like that. All in all a very good watch so far.
