About Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack

Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack
The Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack is designed for fast mountain missions. Its reACTIV suspension ensures great freedom of movement so you can focus more on the trail. The suspension system combines fixed shoulder straps with an ultra-responsive, floating hip-belt that responds to your body's movements for greater comfort and stability. A neat suspension system on the shoulder straps means more comfort and greater range of movement. SwingArm shoulder straps link to each other through a cable, which allows arm mobility and load stability during a climb. The thermoformed, vented back panel keeps you comfortable at all times, while its hydration compatibility means you do not have to fumble for a frozen water bottle at camp. You can also remove the Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack s padded hipbelt, 4 mm aluminum frame, framesheet, and top lid when you need to speed up and reach for the top.

This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Comments about Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack:

So far I've used this product as a travel pack for the tropics. I love it because of it's versatility. The roll top closure combined with the top pocket creates a variey of different ways to close it up which provides a number of different volumes. For the tropics i detached the top pocket and used it as an electronics/toiletries/surf wax sack and stuffed it inside the pack and rolled the top closed. The pack was probly a little less than 30L in this form. Also took off the hip belt thing. But say i were goin to new zealand. I could pack it taller than itself due to its large skirt and than attach the top pcket over the top and i'm sure i'd have plenty room for some cold weather. I'd say it has a range of 30L to around 50L. And it doesn't feel like your carrying extra material around when you pack it small. It can easily be a light daypack or a stay as long as you can tropic/mild weather pack as i used it. I also plan to use it snowboarding. It's a very comfy yet minimal design. I'd imagine you could pull off a 3 day backpacking trip with it, but haven't done it yet. Keep in mind, i like climbing gear for it's simplicity. This has no exterior pockets and just 2 on the inside, one zipperd, one slide in. No water bottle holder. I just tie it on the outside no problem. Overall very stoked on the versatility, seems durable and well made thus far. Great simple yet very functional pack.

    Questions about this item:

Shopper  what are the dimentions of the large size ?
HUA C  The large one should be 32L. I have the small one, which is 28L. The regular one should be exactly 30L.
Shopper  Hi, I have seen a review which states this item is not in yellow? Please can someone confirm?
JENNA G  It is much more of a pea green. Decent pack.
Shopper  Do you think i could take this Pack with me as ina plain as hand lugagge?
CAM D  It's been done, not issues on planes*. Not the greatest pack for a bunch of poky climbing gear, though.
