JARED S I checked my helmet and I don't see anything to indicate an OSHA approved rating or even a DOT approval sticker. There is no regulatory agency approvals on the helmet just a couple of typical warning on the inside.

KENNETH C OSHA stands for "Occupational Safety & Health Administration." They're not in the business of certifying recreational products. Perhaps you were thinking of buying a ladder to climb with instead? They're over near the lumber aisle :)
