Comments about Atlas Elektra 9 Series Snowshoes for Women 23 in.:

These are great light-weight all terrain snowshoes. They fasten very tightly to your shoe and are easy to take on/off. The only con is the heel strap--you have to be very diligent about placing it high up on your shoe before tightening it or else it'll come off. If they made the strap be able to move from its pivot point I would give it 5 stars, but unless that change is made, I'm sticking to four. Good buy though.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

          Questions about this item:

Deborah B  Is this the 923 or the 927? And is the color teal (or aqua) as shown?
Deborah B  Oh duh, I answered one of my own questions, it's available in both sizes, 23" and 27". Still want to know about the color though.
Shopper  What is the difference between the 2010 ans 2011 models?
SunnySports S  The 2011 has the free rotating suspension. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
Shopper  For the Atlas Elektra 927 women's snowshoes, I see that there are 2010 and 2011 versions available (at different prices). Are there any functional changes in the 2011 model (crampons, bindings, frame material, etc.) or are the changes purely cosmetic?
SunnySports S  Sorry for the delay in answering your question, due to the holidays we have had a large increase in questions. In answer to your questions there is actually no difference between the 2010 and 2011 models. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
