About Atlas 10 Series Snowshoes

Atlas 10 Series Snowshoes
The Atlas 10 Series Snowshoes are designed for the great outdoors and the adventurous people who likes winter. The V shaped frames and the tapered tail traps less snow when you are moving forward, making each step very natural. The heel lift bar eases fatigue making you go even further. The Atlas patented spring loaded suspension (SLS) gives you more stability and makes the snowshoes easy to maneuver. The Nylex decking material makes the snowshoe very lightweight and easy to carry. These shoes are built using Wrapp Swift Binding, which gives arc support and makes the shoes more comfortable. The Atlas 10 Series Snowshoes are what you need to go out and explore the winter wonderland.

Atlas 10 Series Snowshoes Features

  • Nytex Decking
  • Flexible Nytex decking is forgiving and quiet when hiking in the cold, providing durability without the weight
  • V-Frames
  • The key to an efficient, natural stride. The V shape tracks straight in deep snow, and the tapered tail pulls less snow as you step forward, saving your energy. The turned-up tail of the V-frame rolls easily into each step for a natural gait. Built with lightweight, durable 6000- and 7000-series series aluminum
  • Heel Lift Bar
  • On steep climbs, calf muscles tire quickly and traction decreases when your foot matches the slope angle. The heel lift bar eases fatigue and ties directly into Advanced Aft Traction for grip
  • Spring-Loaded Suspension
  • Atlas' patented Spring-Loaded Suspension (SLS) keeps the snowshoe close underfoot for easy maneuvering and suspends your foot so it can move freely with its intended articulation. The suspension absorbs impact and lets your foot flex naturally side-to-side for a comfortable, stable position on uneven terrain
  • All-Trac Toe Crampon
  • The time-tested geometry of our All-Trac toe crampon provides traction in all directions. Wider traction tabs on the sides and corners complement sharp front and rear points for confident hiking
  • Wrapp Swift Binding
  • Built on the renowned fit and arch support of the Wrapp platform, the Wrapp Swift binding blends technical fit with great comfort and ease of use from the positive toe locator, warm EVA padding, and straps that cinch and release like a breeze

Product looks very well built. Looking forward to snow this winter and the opportunity to take in the scenery that otherwise would have been missed sitting inside.

AMBER S  Kenny, the 10 30's would be a good fit for you with a pack up to 40-50 lbs or so. For your female companion, the 10-25's would be ok if you're dead set on matching, otherwise Atlas makes the Electra series that are designed to perform better with the specific gait and stride of a woman's frame. Might research those before you purchase
