good sleeping pad

By Country

I have used this product for about a year from Kodiak Island to north of the Yukon in Alaska. It has held up fine. When weight/space allows I always sleep with a thermarest z lite sleeping pad underneath. Only con is a small stuff sack.

This pad is the best...

I have used this pad and another one that was the same model and they are both the best. I like how quiet this pad is compared to others...you don't get the crinkling in your ear when your sleeping that you do with other pads. Another feature that I like is the extra durability a small layer of foam provides...when I stop at the top of a pass for a nap after a hard climb I throw my pad down where others are skepticle that theirs won't get a leak. As the original inventor of the self-inflating sleeping pad, we've mastered the art of crafting these high-performance pads for camping and backpacking. The ProLite is the foundation of Therm-A-Rest ProLite line, offering adventurers the lightest and most compact self-inflating option on the market. The 1-inch (2.5 cm) sleeping pad uses diagonally-cut foam to increase warmth while saving weight, giving the pad a 2.4 R-value for three-season adventures. The lightweight self-inflating pad features the high-performance WingLock valve, which has three-times the airflow rate of the classic valve thanks to a larger opening and one-way inflation. Like all Therm-A-Rest pads, the ProLite is made in market to ensure quality and minimize environmental impact. The pad includes a compact stuff sack.

Shopper  How thick is it after it's inflated?
BELLA B  nothing change so far. it's the same thickness when i first used it.
LOREN M  Thick enough to give you a comfortable nights rest. It packs small and is light. I use it for bicycle touring. Couldn't be better. All you need is something for your upper body. I've been using Thermarest for probably over 25 years. This newest technology is wonderful.
DAVID F  Let me google that for you.
LAWRENCE G  I have yet to use it but I remember it as being about an inch or so. Maybe a little bit more.
WILLIAM W  I measured one (1) inch exactly.

Jessica S  The women's version of the pad is made to fit the contours of a women's body better.
