I don't know the exact length but probably just above mid thigh. I'm 53 and felt the length was perfect. They are very comfortable for hiking or just wearing around to do your errands.

Can you tell me if these run a little small, a little large or true to size?

They are a little on the small side ... I wear an 8 and I ordered my first pair (L). They felt comfortable but were a bit large but I kept those and ordered a (M) which are borderline small but the elastic waist compensates. I guess I'm in between sizes. Anyway, I wear both and love them!

They definately run on the small size. I am usually a 6 and I ordered a medium. It fits fine. I think their size chart has a med. as a size 6-8, but I think an 8 would be a little tight in the med. There is a little bit of elastic in the waist that allows for a little slide in the size. Hope this helps.
