There is no green rubber outersole. It is tan. I've had 5 pairs and they are the best.

Mine does not have a green rubber outer sole. The entire sole is light brown

My soles are as pictured not the color green. I do have a problem with them though, impossible to replace leather laces by owners, have to be talent to a cobbler.
