Great hiking boots

I was planning a hiking trip where the temperature would be near freezing. These boots kept my feet warm and dry. I wore them with "Smart wool" socks. The boots are not too heavy and very durable. They fit perfectly if you are wearing heavy socks. I strongly recommend them.

I love these boots and have been buying them for years. The price on Sunnysports is by far the best I've seen. Make sure to get the Gore-Tex membrane and not the waterproof coating, there's a big difference in protection.

Lisa B  Are these waterproof in wet grass? I hike often on trails with high native grasses.
DOREEN K  Yes, they have a gore tex membrane. I have owned several pairs over the years and hike at all times of year in all types of weather; my feet stay dry. I wouldn't buy another brand or style of hiking boot.

Shopper  Is the boot completely waterproof?
Keith D  Yes. I have had three pairs now. I have stepped in water puddles deep enough to cover the toe and socks stayed dry. As they age and the leather starts to crack, you will get some seepage. It would probably help if I applied conditioner to keep the leather from drying out, but I just wear them until they need replacing.

LAURA R  I think the boot is true to size. I wear a mid-weight hiking sock with mine so if you like thick socks, I recommend getting the boot a half size bigger than you would normally wear.
JEFF B  I wear a size 8 shoe and also wear thick socks for hiking! So I purchased these in an 8.5 and they are perfect. This is my favorite hiking boot!
DILARA GUNES K  I too like wearing thick socks especially during winter treks, these boots are great they have seen me through various tough spots on the planet come rain or snow or sun.. I bought same as my regular running shoe size which is half a size bigger than my female shoe size and for me they fit perfect.
