I back pack and use a jungle hammock instead of a tent. I bought this to put in the hammock to help insulate my backside that is usually freezing at 4am in the morning. This was the trick. This product very much impressed me with how it reflects back your own body heat. It is a natural heater. I stayed nice and cozy in the hammock.
