Suunto MC-2 Global Compass

A bit expensive but an excellent compass nevertheless

I ordered this compass in December and it arrived here in Canada in January from Finland and it's minus 25 Celsius outside and there are no air bubbles in it which is pretty good considering it's been in Cold Storage for almost 2 weeks in the middle of winter. As someone else mentioned it's a little difficult to open and close it but you can just scrape down the little plastic catch thing or you can wait till it wears down a bit. It's only because when it's manufactured it's very sharp. I bou...ght this and the M 3G. Always good to carry two just in case and to always check one against the other. They were both perfect. I have heard so many good reviews on the internet, finally got my own. The little black button thing in the box is a lanyard holder that clips onto the compass, took me awhile to figure it out.
