Using this headnet has made it possible to truly enjoy a hike, an evening camp meal or a stroll during the major bug season. Instead of swatting away mosquitos, we can hike, talk and even sit and watch the sunset without being stressed with the nagging bugs. Love it.
Fits well over hats and keeps bugs away

My first spring and early summer in the Green Mountains of Vermont meant enduring biting horse flies when out hiking, exercising or painting (I'm an oil painter and take my portable easel outside when I can). I love that this comes in its own pouch so I can have it with me all the time and can whip it out and put it over a hat when I have to. It fits over a baseball cap and a wide-brimmed sun hat. I worried at first that it wasn't a tight "seal" around my neck/shoulders, but turns out the bug...s (biting flies and mosquitoes) were more intent on buzzing around my face and couldn't figure out how to get in from below. If you wear something with a collar you could probably tuck it in. Works great and I got one for my husband, too. It's fun to see the bugs land on the net in front of my eyes but not be able to reach me. And I am a serious bug "magnet"!
