YVONNE G we had seen our nephew using the jet boil and it was so fast, convenient, packs small. My son uses it for backpacking trips and loves it. Dependable, and boils water truly fast. I didnot need any of the fancy featuresof the new model, wanted to spend alittle less so this suited us fine. We use it for quick coffee in the morning when we are camping and it is cold out, we like not having to wait. We tested it at 8000 feet altitude and 20 degrees F. It did not work so great. The new double burner coleman stove that is 100% propane did beteter under those conditions. But for most conditionsit is nice to have around.

JOSH C The system is my stove for a toy hauler trailer. It's very lowest setting is JUST low enough to simmer pasta. I use an alcohol stove for backpacking. I chose this jetboil model because of the low cost and similar boil times to the more expensive models. Very efficient. Uses about 5-6 grams of fuel per 2-cup boil.
