This is my second pair of Speedcross 3 shoes. They fit my narrow flat feet perfectly. I use them to shoot IDPA and USPSA matches. The first pair survived about 1.5 years or 50 matches. These shoes are IDPA legal, as they are not "cleats", and very popular among IDPA shooters. Some USPSA shooters prefer heavier Land Sharks with more agressive, but less flexible sole.

I have wide feet and high arches. Will these work for me at all?

Yes to wide feet. Not sure about high arches though. Overall one of the best trail runners I've ever had.

For wide feet, I would say no. High arches wouldnt matter as you would need to insert your own arch support if you actually need it.

I have regular D width feet and no arch to speak of. My feet also have bad pronation so that has to be taken into account. However, I have found that these shoes are a little snug in the tow box. I purchased these shoes with a little wiggle room for when my feet swell. Even then, with thin socks it's a tight fit. They do loosen a bit over a few uses, but not much.
I do like the thicker arch support, but it might be too much for your already high arches. If you can, head to an R.E.I. or somewhere you can try them on. There are other great shoes by Salomon for trail running with similar tread patterns. I think one is called Fellcross, or something like that. Pearl Izumi is making big strides in the running and triathlon segments. I know for a fact they have a shoe that will fit you. Call the Pearl Izumi Factory Outlet store in Gilroy, CA. Arches will be a none issue, depending on how wide your feet are they might be a little snug.
