The watch is water resistant but not water proof. So you should not take it into water.

The Traileader comes pre-programmed with a generic profile, it is highly recommended that you take 5 minutes to properly calibrate Speed & Distance mode to your personal profile in order to obtain the most accurate results. To start, all you have to do is start walking OR running.
