I love this headlamp so much I bought one for every member of the family. While it is a bit bigger than some of the fancy princeton tec or petzl, you can easily adjust its angle, diffusion, and turn it on and off even wearing bulky gloves.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
