    Comments about Esbit Titanium Stove:

This is an indespensible component of my 10 Essentials Kit for hiking and wandering. Along with my Olicamp 24 oz Mug and a MYOG windscreen, I have the ability to enjoy coffee, cappuccino, soups, ramen, etc. for under 4 oz of weight! Having the ability to prepare hot soups and beverages in the 10 Essentials kit can be a lifesaver in cold and cold/wet conditions.

The stove is rugged and quite stable when you use an appropriately sized cooking vessel. This stove does require a windscreen or a sheltered cooking location - I use a MYOG windscreen constructed from heavy aluminum foil. I have used this stove in 20 mph winds with the windscreen and it performed just fine!
